Types of Heating Systems

Types of Heating Systems

The most popular heating systems – furnaces(Forced Air Furnaces), Boilers and electric heat pumps.
Modern technology to increase the efficiency of all heating options. All versions
of very economical and environmentally friendly.Safety is ensured by correct
calculations Professional installation and compliance with regulations and
timely service.

Forced Air Furnaces

Typically, furnaces have efficiency between 78% and 96% AFUE, it depends on the type of fuel and the furnace.
New furnaces tend to have AFUE 78-80% (compared to 60-70% for the older stoves).A forced-air central heating
system is one which uses air as its heat transfer medium.A modern forced-air heating furnace of the gas-fired

Boilers heating systems

If you buy a new boiler system, the efficiency with AFUE is over 88%
Search systems with high efficiency pumps. And pay attention to insulation system.
This will ensure maximum heating efficiency and accuracy of monitoring systems.

Electric heat pump

When choosing a new heat pump, pay attention to the high seasonal efficiency or HSPF.
HSPF current minimum for air source heat pumps is 7.6, a high-performance models, designed for 9 HSPF or greater.

Ground source or geothermal heat pumps are more effective because they absorb heat either from the ground or water,
pumped out of the ground. The efficiency of the geothermal heat pump is expressed as the coefficient of performance
or COP.New geothermal systems have COP ratings ranging from 2.5 to 4.0, with 3.0 COP roughly equivalent to HSPF 10.
However, they can be much more expensive than air source heat pumps. Some utilities and municipalities create
incentives to help offset the additional costs of geothermal systems.

sheme for hydronic distribution of heat

The new type of heat pump is called the endocrine, or “mini-split”, is an ideal choice for modernization
existing homes that do not have an existing duct system. Several internal wall blocks can be installed
in separate rooms, all connected to a single outdoor unit. As with any heat pump, this type can provide
as heating and air conditioning, but not at the expense of installation of the duct system.
